Plain talk
What we do and do not claim
A child's care deserves plain words. This is what we do, what we leave to others and what we will not say.
What we do
Examine how your child moves
Use light technique matched to age and size
Explain what we find in plain words
Send you to your pediatrician or physician when something is outside what we do
Keep your records private and share them only as the law allows
What we do not claim
That care treats or prevents illness in a child
That it replaces well-child visits or vaccines
That results are certain or that a set number of visits is needed
That care changes how a pregnancy or birth goes
That one doctor or office is better than another
See a physician first
When to call a pediatrician or physician before you book
Some things need medical care before a chiropractic visit.
Call your child's pediatrician or your own physician first about a fever, a recent fall or injury, a baby who is hard to wake or not feeding, or anything that worries you. Tell us what they say, and we will follow their advice.
Talk to a physician first if
A fever or a child who seems unwell
A recent fall, crash or injury
A pregnancy your OB or midwife calls high-risk
