How fees work
The same answers at all four offices, before you book.
Insurance we work with
We bill most PPO plans and some employer plans at every Tonic office, and what a plan pays for chiropractic visits differs from plan to plan. We check yours first and tell you what we find.

If you pay yourself
If you pay yourself, your doctor tells you the fee for each part of the visit before it happens, and you pay at the visit. The fee list is the same at all four offices, and a child's visit and a parent's visit are listed the same way.
Receipts for reimbursement
After each visit we can give you an itemized receipt. If your plan reimburses care from outside its network, you can send the receipt to them, and the plan decides what it pays.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. We give you a written estimate in advance, before the first visit, and we answer your questions about it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits before the first visit and calls you with what they find, including any copay or deductible. You can also call your plan and ask about chiropractic visits.
What the first visit includes
The first visit is about 45 minutes: the doctor listens, examines your child, explains what they found and agrees a next step with you. You hear the fee for each part before it happens.

Same at every office
Three things that do not change from office to office
The same fee list
Every office uses one fee list, and the front desk can give you a copy.
The same written estimate
If you do not use insurance, you get a written estimate before the first visit, wherever you book.
The same cancellation policy
Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.
